Bio

Dave Munsick is a professional musician and educator from northern Wyoming.  He has spent the majority of his life capturing emotions, putting them to song, and sharing what he creates with widely diverse audiences.  He also spent years as a highly innovative classroom teacher, using his unique communication skills to create stories that supported the curriculum that he designed for his students.   

Dave has recently launched an educational service, The Songteller, in which he uses his talents as a songwriter, storyteller, and educator in order to capture the imagination of students.  He offers remote as well as live services that involve his coaching of students in creating stories and songs that bring curriculum to life.  He also creates learning modules that align with state standards and include topics such as Discovering Lewis and Clark, Westward Expansion: Where the Trail Meets the Song, and Inside the Civil War.  His bookings are supported in part by a grant made possible through the IM Tour which is administered by the Wyoming Arts Council.
