Too Many Horses

Too Many Horses

$20.00

Wyoming’s been keeping a secret, mostly hidden in the folds of the Big Horn Mountains. The secret lies in the way that the connective power of Dave Munsick’s music ties to the echoes of the land, lore and life of the west.

Dave has a long history of living life to its fullest, working from Mexico to Canada at occupations that have kept him close to the land and its people. His rich life and lyrical melodies allow listeners to be captured into the times and the places of which he sings. He has written scores of songs, themes for plays, produced and released 4 cds of his songs, and has made several history and science educational music videos. In addition, he has opened for or performed on fiddle, piano, and guitar for artists including Lyle Lovett, Gary McMahan, Chris LeDoux, Hank Thompson, Ian Tyson, Darrell McCall and Johnny Bush.

He gives song writing workshops, arranges music for his band, the Powder River Boys, has had his music played on television, U.S. and European radio stations, and been reviewed in Western Horseman, Rope Burns, and Cowboy magazines.

Too Many Horses is a mixture of songs that reflect different looks at the open west – both past and present. It is an entertaining way to relate to some of the adventures that we all seem to share.
